My Sunrise Reflections is heading to Ohio to be included in the 2022 SAQA Spotlight Auction.
I was inspired by sunrises seen at a recent quilting retreat at the Bishop’s Ranch in Healdsburg, CA. I made this 6”x 8” quilted piece for the SAQA Spotlight Auction which will take place online during our 2022 Conference in late April.
The pieces will be displayed in mats with a 4.5″ x 6.5” opening.
Two photos were manipulated, in iPad apps: Pixlr, iColorama, SketchMee, and procreate. I combined the resulting digital images using blending modes in procrate, then printed on fabric. Machine quilted and hand colored with Neocolor Crayons.
