This is an art quilt still in progress made from a collage using text and image I made last month. I liked the collage so much that I decided to make it into a textile piece. I scanned the image at the highest resolution my scanner would allow and printed the images onto fabric with my inkjet printer and sewed them together. After adding machine quilting, I painted selected areas with acrylic paint.
