Here’s a photo of a foot that I tried to draw a few times in drawing classes.
It is my nemesis, and therefore, a perfect subject for telling a story with collage. I used Photoshop to remove the background stuff and made a gel transfer of the image. I found that it is too low contrast to show up against the text backgrounds that I created, so I just pasted it onto a chart that I found in an art supply catalogue and added one word. Interesting to see how much the color changed from the original print which was true to color. I like how the background shows through the foot.
