Priscilla Read – Art Journey

Lately I’ve been playing with Photoshop Elements and thinking about ways to use it to manipulate images for collage and quilting.  I took Intro to PSE from the Fabulous Pixeladies and learned how to repeat images on a single “canvas”.

I decided to try this with the Newspaper Collage from my scrapbook (see yesterday’s post).  I applied a “glowing edges” PSE filter, then selected an area that I liked.

I pasted these in as repeats.  Along the way, I discovered that they looked better rotated.

After I got a design I liked, I repeated it again to create a design that has 16 of the original image.
