Art on the iPad

I’m having a blast in Susie Monday’s Art on the iPad online class. I’ve taken the class a couple times before, so the skills using various combinations of inexpensive iPad apps seem easier to use and get results I like. We’re 3 weeks in, and I’m really excited about the possibilities.

Here’s a sampling of some of the ways I altered digital images using my iPad:

iPhone photos transformed with ColorThief

Pixelation, effects, and overlays with Pixlr

B&W using Pixlr and BeCasso

Pixlr effects over a B&W photo

Combination of apps to produce colorways

I reworked some of my more successful images to greater colorways that I could use for printing on fabric, starting with inkjet prints. Apps used: Pixlr, Aerograph, and Procreate.
