Cobblestone Paths quilt

When I saw this quilt design by Sue Pfeu in the August 23, 2023 edition of American Patchwork and Quilting, I thought would be a great way to use up some of the scraps I have on hand, some going back at lease 20 years! I fell in love with making blocks from scraps and plan to make more scrap quilts. Melissa Quilter long-arm quilted it with her original design inspired by artistic motifs of Harold Balazs.

After I made the first few blocks, I was hooked and knew that I had to keep going to make a bed sized quilt. I kept making more until I had 110 blocks, plus some extras.

    1. Thanks. I was surprised that after making this quilt, I still have lots of scraps! Fun to challenge myself to make an entire quilt from fabrics (and thread) on hand instead of buying more.
