Move Over, Cupcake: Make Way For The Macaroon, cupcakes are no longer “in”.
I have great memories of cupcakes, but no warm and fuzzy feelings about macaroons. So as far as I’m concerned cupcakes are “in” and have been since I was a kid.
So when I saw Sandi Henderson’s cupcake pincushion pattern, I knew I just had to make one.
Alan’s daughter Gina is celebrating her 40th birthday this month. Since she loves baking and is the author of several cookbooks including Love at First Bite, The Unofficial Twilight Cookbook, whipping up a giant cupcake seemed just the thing. Here’s a photo of the finished cupcake.
Looks yummy, and best of all, calorie-free!
