Several years ago I learned how to make liberated blocks
– improvisationally with no pattern or template – in a class with Gwen Marston.
I recently picked up some Marimekko fabric scraps from the Crate and Barrel outlet, thinking they would be great infusion of color and inspiration in my fabric stash.
I found this book
All My Thanks and Love to Quilts
by Keiko Goke
with colorful improvisational quilts and was inspired by the house quilt
Here are blocks I’ve made so far …. will make lots more then the quilt.
